Click Here to RegisterPresenter: Iyad Ghanim, PhD BioIyad Ghanim explores topics related to speech perception, language processing, and word access primarily in bilinguals and in adverse listening conditions. He uses predominantly experimental methods, including lexical decision and priming tasks, and neurophysiological measures like event-related potentials (ERPs). The impact of this work is in modeling bilingual psycholinguistic structures and the role of individual variation. Course DescriptionThis lecture examines the integration of artificial intelligence in speech-language pathology and audiology, focusing on ethical and responsible use in research, education, and practice. It reviews current use cases and explores how AI may influence language and communication, concluding with guidelines to maximize benefits and minimize risks. Learning Objectives1.
