The AAC Committee promotes current knowledge of AAC trends and evidence-based practices. The Committee provides resources and support for members of NJSHA and consumers.

- We meet 4 to 5 times a year via free teleconference, so you can attend meetings in the comfort of your own home or office
- We also have 2 face-to-face meetings, once in the fall and once at the NJSHA Convention
- Our meetings include in-depth discussions of issues that are most pressing in the field of AAC

All committees are open to all NJSHA members, with the exception of those stating specific criteria.
NJSHA is always looking for committee volunteers to provide of their expertise for as much time you are willing to offer. Your involvement is two-fold, giving back to your organization as well as learning new skills and increasing your knowledge about professional issues. As a member you may volunteer for NJSHA Committees. Your donated time may be as little as one hour per month or as much as you choose.
